For over a decade, LSU’s men’s and women’s golf teams have called University Club their home. Recently recognized as the 13th-best college golf course in the country by Golf Digest, it stands out for its shot values, course layout, memorability, and conditioning.
After extensive renovations in 2010, the course now features a newly designed par-72 layout, crafted under the expertise of LSU legend David Toms and renowned architect Jim Lipe, who originally designed the course in 1998. Spanning nearly 300 acres just seven miles south of the LSU campus, the University Club offers a picturesque setting for players of all levels.
The challenging 18-hole course stretches to 7,700 yards from its championship tees, showcasing wide fairways bordered by lush pine hammocks and native grasses, along with 2,000 feet of scenic bulkhead. The course also includes four additional sets of tees, accommodating players of varying ages and skill levels.
